Artillery X1 Lever Arm - dual bearing
thingiverse
EDIT 31-Aug-20; Small revision added for print in place support of idler bearing hole and small adjustment made to tube section to secure the tube better along with improved printability. Thing Details: Updated extruder lever arm designed specifically for Artillery Sidewinder X1. Main changes include: 1) Dual bearings run on motor shaft, stabilizing the arm and reducing wobble. 2) Bearings spaced to align feed tube with hotend feed, preventing arm from touching gears. 3) Integrated spacer eliminates need for lever clip. Two versions are included: one using 10x5x3mm bearings and another using 9x5x3mm bearings. Two of the same size bearings will be required. Note that motor side bearing should stand proud to space the arm away from the motor. Post-processing involves running a 3mm bit through idler pulley pin hole and possibly filing feed tube hole with small round file due to intentionally tight fit. Design is optimized for printing at 0.15-0.2 layer heights, 3-4 perimeters, and 20% infill.
