I needed to secure the cable to prevent it from joining the ranks of burned out cables and connectors, a frustrating fate that many people have experienced. I also aimed to remove the cover since it serves no useful purpose, merely obstructing airflow to the motor and complicating maintenance. This mount secures to the card using existing screws in those designated locations, requiring an additional 2 m3 nuts and 2 m3x10 or longer screws for the clamp. To enhance grip on the cable, I applied a small piece of tape to each side of the clamp. Additionally, I applied a tiny amount of dielectric grease to the end of the ribbon, taking preventive measures against corrosion that could lead to a hot connection and cause damage.
