Filament spool holder/Filament roller thumb screw conversion for Artillery Sidewinder X1 (evnovo) I love how smoothly the stock roller rolls, but I got tired of pulling out the hex wrench every time I switched rolls, so I came up with this solution that allows for fast changes and is an alternative to printing the cross roller pieces that are popular. The thumb screw cap is extremely snug depending on how accurate your extrusions are, which is a good thing because you want this thing to hold on very tight. I used a couple dabs of super glue and a pair of pliers to compress the two of them nice and snug. You could do all four screws if needed, but I only use the one shown. It's working great! 0.12 layer height 2 walls 4 top and bottom layers 50% infill 100% infill would also work well because it's such a quick print.
