Artillery Sidewinder X1 Tension-er Spacer

Artillery Sidewinder X1 Tension-er Spacer

thingiverse

This spacer is designed to precisely position the Tensioner, Idler Arm, Extruder Arm, or as it's currently being referred to, in perfect alignment with the extruder gear. Over time, my previous model was prone to wandering, resulting in improper operation of the extruder and potentially catastrophic failure if allowed to get too close to the heat block. This spacer effectively prevents such movement, ensuring optimal performance. The strategically placed holes on this design serve a dual purpose: preventing heat buildup underneath it while maintaining structural integrity. Printed with PLA, my model has thus far demonstrated flawless functionality, and the lever remains consistently aligned.
