Artillery Sidewinder X1 Squash Ball Feet Dampener
thingiverse
A dampener I designed for the Artillery/Evnovo Sidewinder X1 that uses a squash ball to reduce vibrations. I have impressive results with this setup and modest speed, jerk, and acceleration, allowing me to print small zig-zags without affecting surface quality. Requirements & Instructions: To create this dampener, you need four squash balls in total with two yellow dots, the hardest ones (SB 990). First, print four of the dampeners. Then, push a squash ball into the hole of each one. Next, slide the dampeners over the stock rubber feet of the SWX1. That's it. I designed this dampener in Fusion360 and have included the source file so you can easily enhance or modify the design to your needs. Update 2020-06-26: I've increased the size of the hole, as some users informed me that it didn't fit for them.
