Artillery Sidewinder X1 Spool Holder
thingiverse
I designed a new stock spool holder for my Artillery Sidewinder X1 as I was dissatisfied with the original one. Two small holes at the front allow me to either string 1.75mm filament across them, securing the filament sensor in place while enabling it to oscillate freely or use an M3 screw to attach the stock filament sensor bracket. The side brackets install in a similar manner to the stock spool holder using the original screws. To ensure accurate dimensions, I must scale up the STL file by 1000% within my slicer program before proceeding with printing. Four 608RS bearings are required for the spool rollers. The assembly relies solely on the friction of its components and does not require any additional fasteners or adhesives to hold it together. Once securely attached to the printer frame, the new spool holder remains sturdy and stable, unaffected by vibrations or movements.
