Artillery Sidewinder X1 Side Cover with Cable Guide / Strain Relief
thingiverse
I'm absolutely loving this printer - it's been a game-changer for me. The only thing that's still got me tweaking is finding a way to alleviate the strain on the X gantry cable when the printhead is in motion. I mean, it's really not a big deal, but I know some folks might appreciate a little extra guidance. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and add a couple of tweaks that have made all the difference. First off, I slapped on a Strain Relief bracket that I'd designed previously - it's available on Thingiverse for anyone who wants it. And then, because you can never be too careful, I added another relief point for the lower screw that keeps this cover securely in place. I'm also going to recommend checking out Tree Supports - they're a fantastic resource if you're looking to get the most out of your printer. As for my pictures being all skewed after posting and the STL not displaying properly... honestly, I'm stumped! Has anyone else run into this issue?
