Artillery Sidewinder X1 : open once, flash many
thingiverse
Hi friends, I'm fed up with opening my Artillery SideWinder X1 whenever I want to flash it. Some people have managed to use the "About" screen for a direct flash, but it didn't work on my machine. Others claim they can implant switches into the device without too much trouble, but electronics aren't exactly my thing. So, I decided to create my own system. Here are its features: - Disconnect and reconnect the screen outside of the device - No soldering or cutting original cables needed - Completely reversible I'm proud to present this solution today. The method uses only two 4-wire Dupont cables for connection/disconnection near the right ventilation holes. I also designed a simple protective cover to safeguard it. You can find detailed instructions on docarti.fr (https://docarti.fr/flasher-la-swx1-sans-louvrir/). Although the site is in French, Google Translate is available at the top-right corner.
