Artillery Sidewinder X1 Low Tension Spool Holder
thingiverse
The filament holder that comes with the Artillery sidewinder X1 leaves much to be desired. This is a simple design that uses the existing bracket but converts it to a axle/bearing setup. You need a nut and bolt to act as the axle, the length is variable. You will also need 2 608 skateboard style bearings. I always run standard spool sizes but you can easily run a longer bolt for the larger spools. The center cones and spacers are designed to work with the variable sizes of the center hole on spools by different manufactures. This design takes all of the tension off the filament and allows it to easily feed into the extruder.
