Artillery Sidewinder X1 Housing with Electronics seperation

This is my approach to building a housing for the Artillery Sidewinder X1. This Housing requires steel sheets, which you can either drill yourself or use DXF files to get laser-cut at Geerscutting.com. A steel sheet housing will significantly increase your printer's weight, so it's essential to have a dedicated space where you don't need to move the printer daily. The bottom plate of the printer will be replaced with the bottom.dxf steel plate. This allows you to still cool your printer electronics with fresh air from outside while isolating the print chamber from the outside environment. I still need to design the air ducts for outgoing air. ############################################## # Housing sheets: ############################################## 1mm steel sheet: ----------------------- 1x back.dxf 2x side.dxf 2mm (preferably 3 or 4mm) steel sheet: ----------------------- 1x bottom.dxf 1x top.dxf 3mm Polycarbonate sheet: ----------------------- 2x 235mm x 680mm ############################################## # Extruded Aluminum (20x20mm profiles nut 6) # ############################################## 4x 680mm (connects the bottom with the top plate) 2x 700mm (connects the front with the back and the top) 2x 470mm (connects the left and right side at the back) 2x 220mm (for the spool holder) ############################################## # Extruded Aluminum (20x40mm profiles nut 6) # ############################################## 2x 50mm (to connect the Z Portal with the Top of the housing) ############################################## # Other parts: # ############################################## 4x KP001 bearings for 12mm rods 2x 20cm long 12mm rods 8x 2020 corners 45x Nut 6 slot nuts with M4 threads 45x M4 x 7mm screws 6x M3 x 8mm screws 8x M6 x 20mm screws 4-6 rubber housing feet (40mm diameter, 25mm height, M5 inner thread or M8 thread and some M8 to M5 converters) 4-6 M5 x 10mm screws 1x M6 Bowden tubing pushfit for filament guide 4x 20x20 hinges (like those: https://www.dold-mechatronik.de/Scharnier-20x20-leicht-B-Typ-Nut-6 ) 4x 40x40 profile connector plates (https://www.dold-mechatronik.de/Verbinderplatte-Alu-vernickelt-40x40) 1x Sunon EE80252BX-A99 (optional, better 24v cooling fan for electronics) ############################################## # Tools: # ############################################## 1x M6 thread drillbit 1x Loctite
