Artillery Sidewinder X1 Filament-Sensor boom
thingiverse
For reasons unknown, I failed to install the filament spool holder on top of my Artillery Sidewinder X1, opting instead to place it above on a shelf. However, mounting the filament sensor is now essential. Behold, my custom-made filament-sensor boom. Please note that using the maximum height (400mm) may not be feasible due to potential proximity issues between the extruder and the filament sensor. I repurposed the original screw-nuts from the backside of the X-axis and the screws from the unused filament holder for this build. The screw that fits into the filament-sensor rod appears non-metric, but an M3 screw works with a slight adjustment in measurement. Feel free to modify the boom's height as needed, keeping in mind the cable is extremely short.
