Artillery Sidewinder X1 Filament Roller

Artillery Sidewinder X1 Filament Roller

I got fed up constantly adjusting the Filament Holder on my Artillery Sidewinder X1 each time I switched PLA brands. That's when I came up with these small adapters. They work incredibly well. A similar design caught my eye on one of my Facebook groups, but it lacked the ribs necessary to prevent uneven movement. So, I sat down in Fusion and created a revised version from scratch. I hope you all enjoy using them. Don't forget to print both! Printing each one separately is recommended to avoid layer artifacts on the rollers caused by the print head jumping back and forth with each layer. Also, make sure to loosen and align both sides of the filament holder properly. They can be a bit finicky, especially if your printer's sides aren't perfectly square like mine weren't. With a little wiggling of the brackets, you should get them aligned smoothly without any binding issues. The shorter adapters are 100mm in width, while the longer ones measure 120mm.
