Screws: 4pc. M6 x 10 hex socket 8pc. M5 x 35 hex socket 4pc. M5 x 20 hex socket 2pc. M5 x 40 hex socket 6pc. M5 Nut 2 x Al profile 2020 length 574.5mm with additional M6 threads at both ends (manually cut directly by M6 screw tap) This is my solution for improving the Z Axis stiffness and thus the printing quality. I used spray paint to color the profile black. PLA Material used: Spectrum PLA matt Material required: Screws: 4pc. M6 x 10 hex socket 8pc. M5 x 35 hex socket 4pc. M5 x 20 hex socket 2pc. M5 x 40 hex socket 6pc. M5 Nut 2 x Al profile 2020 length 574.5mm with additional M6 threads at both ends (manually cut directly by M6 screw tap) Others: 0. drill ø5mm for drilling 4 holes into the sidewinder housing using a printed drill jig. See above on the STL files. 1. Print out all parts required 2. Drill 4 holes into the sheet metal housing of the sidewinder using the drill jig 3. Fix bottom part and upper block with M5 screws. Use counter plate inside the sidewinder housing. Tighten up all screws nuts. 4. Mount end pieces on bottom side of the Al profile 5. Insert both profiles to the upper blocks (see also step 7) and tighten up top M6 Screws that go into to profile 6. Mount horizontal screws into bottom part / end pieces and temporary fix the M5 nuts on each side 7. Losen the M5 screws that go into the Z profile on each side when doing step 5. 8. lift x-axis all the way up to before tightening M5 screws on Step 7 9. tighten up everything again.
