Artillery Sidewinder X1 adjustable Z endstop
thingiverse
This is an adjustable Z endstop for the Artillery Sidewinder X1 stock endstop.\r\nFirst, print the file called ScalableNutMount.stl. Scale it to the proper size for your nut and bolt then load the two files into TinkerCad. Scale the nut mount model up or down and rotate it 90 degrees into the orientation shown in the image. Place the nut mount where indicated by the image, group the two together, and print them.\r\nDon't scale the file called SWX1 Adjustable Z.stl. Refer to the image for proper printing orientation once you have your grouped model printed, attach it to the X1 on the right side of the X gantry.\r\nI highly recommend lowering the nozzle until it's just touching the center of the bed and moving your inductive endstop up or down on the extrusion until it's 1-2mm below the bolt/machine screw with your printer off. This ensures that your endstop is triggered (red light) when you turn your printer back on before homing to prevent nozzle crashes into the bed.\r\n\r\nYou'll need:\r\nM5 bolt and/or M3 bolt, T-nut to attach it to the X gantry.\r\nM3 nut and bolt to position the inductive Z endstop on the extrusion.\r\nNut and bolt/machine screw for the nut mount (I used a #8 UNC-32 nut and a #8 UNC-32 x 1 inch machine screw).
