Artillery Sidewinder X1 ac bed heater strain relief and cable chain
thingiverse
This adapter is designed specifically for taking strain off the AC bed heater cabling on your Evnovo/Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D printer. Unlike some other designs, it doesn't create a lever or crowbar between the levelling knob and carriage that could cause layer shifts in your prints. The adapter mounts directly to the Y-carriage arm without touching any bolts, springs, or knobs at all. It can be used with or without cable chain, allowing you to add it later if needed. Since cable ties are tightened from underneath, you can always attach cable chain at a future date. Cable chain helps keep cables away from sharp metal edges on cut aluminum extrusions. The bed arm comes in two versions for optimal compatibility with your slicer and material. BedArmFlatPrint is designed to print without supports, allowing extra clearance under bridged areas for sagging or drooping. This creates a springy top that holds the arm in place, but using supports will slightly alter the resulting part. BedArmVerticalPrint is designed to be printed upright with supports, ideal for filaments like PETG that don't bridge well. With this version, you can also lay it down flat and use supports if desired.
