Artillery Sidewinder/Genius Hemera & BL Touch mount

UPDATE: BL Touch version uploaded (design inspiration thanks to Fulament mount). I have tested this and it works great, my z offset ended up being around -1.8mm. This is a very rigid mount when printed with carbon fiber filled PETG and still very light as well. I tried quite a few of the popular mounts before adopting my own. BL Touch XY Offsets: •X: -5 •Y: +25 Step files also added to aid any remixes. Hemera (v6) mount for Artillery Sidewinder and Genius. I was finding I got a lot of ringing with other mounts because they are just a bit too flimsy, especially with PETG which can flex a lot. I designed this mount to try to add as much rigidity as possible. In particular, the base is now 10mm thick with cutouts for M5 washers spreading the load on the fixings over a broader area. The design is inspired by Haukanes but I started from scratch with modeling to achieve the outcomes I wanted. You will need longer M5 bolts for extruder carriage wheels and this is a small compromise to have a much more rigid and beefier mount. I printed in carbon fiber PETG to increase the rigidity of the material but maintain the heat resistance from the stepper motor. PLA is not recommended as fixing points will deform over time, particularly the extruder fixings, and become loose. Use blue Loctite on your fixings to the extruder (essential). The extruder is mounted as high as possible to raise the ribbon cable so there is less chance of it rubbing on the belt or pulley. Adjust your z endstop sensor accordingly with the t-nut supplied with the printer, or remove it and use it as an ABL probe. The mounting holes for the extruder are bridged with a 0.16mm sacrificial layer so the mount can be printed without supports. Just push the M3 screws through this layer from the underside when mounting. Hardware needed includes: - 3 x M5 x 35mm socket head screws - 3 x M5 washers - 3 x M3 x 8mm socket head screws - 3 x M3 washers (the depth of the extruder holes requires washers. They prevent deformation of the plastic by spreading the load and ensure everything remains tight in the long term) Use the extruder PCB mount from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4143992 If you want to run ABL use the stock hardware and save yourself some money on a BL touch. The stock sensor works very well in my experience.
