I created my own head. That's what I wanted to achieve: lighter, modular, adjustable. And I can finally see something from the front :) Marlin settings: define NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET { -24, -22, -1 } https://youtu.be/HEDzfr1K1R8 16.05.2022 I added the LED lighting. 5mm LED + Dupont jumper 2 pin https://youtu.be/Cs1UM3Knh1k 12.07.2022 The case for AA batteries and the switch ************************** These were my printer upgrade steps that I can remember. All steps at your own risk! 1. Download the latest version of Marlin https://marlinfw.org/meta/download/ 2. Install the software 2.1 Visual Studio Code (compile for the firmware) https://code.visualstudio.com/download 2.2 Addons for the Visual Studio Code: PlatformIO and Auto Build Marlin 2.3 STM32CubeProgrammer (for flashing the firmware to the printer) https://www.st.com/en/development-too... 3. Print out the mount for 3D Touch, for example from Nabac https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:503... or my head with an integrated mount :) (it also needs two 5015 fans for this) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:538... 4. Buy and install BL Touch or 3D Touch (pay attention to the PINs!). I have 3D Touch from Trianglelab https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32832... 5. Adjust the configuration.h and configuration_adv.h files. Marlin base configuration can also be taken from Nabac https://github.com/mjrama/Marlin 6. Compile the firmware using Visual Studio Code 7. Flash the firmware with STM32CubeProgrammer. Nabac wrote a good guide (thanks for that!): https://github.com/mjrama/Marlin/blob... 8. Set Z-offset value 9. Activate, create and save mesh 10. Adjust the start code in Cura or in another slicer 11. Optional: OctoPrint Raspberry PI + Touch Screen 3.5 inch (optional) + OctoPrint / OctoPi https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050... https://octoprint.org/download/ Have fun :)
