This is a straightforward cover for the unreasonably large opening on top right of the main unit designed specifically for Z-Axis sensor cables. Debris, plastic scraps, and screws can freely enter the housing, and this plug will only leave just enough space for the cables themselves to fit through comfortably. Exercise caution not to compress them when inserting the cover.
