The artificial spinal disk is a weight-bearing implant consisting of two endplates and one polyethylene inlay, designed as an alternative to fusion. It allows controlled motion at the surgery level. In artificial disk replacement, damaged disk material between vertebrae is removed and replaced with a synthetic disk, aiming for pain relief while maintaining more normal motion than spinal fusion. The hi-poly 3D model was created in 3ds Max 2014, with previews rendered using Corona Renderer 1.6; it includes textures and materials. Apply turbosmooth modifier to enhance the upper surface.
