Articulating Speaker Wall Mount

Articulating Speaker Wall Mount

Created for my Vizio soundbar surround rear speakers, with index holes for the dots that are on that speaker cube/mount. However, this could be used for other speakers attaching an appropriate interface to this. Printing:I printed in the orientation shown in the images with build plate supports, but it should print fine without supports if you print the mid hinge on it's top/bottom orientation.I used PLA w/ 15% infill.Optionally, I did fuzzy skin @ 0.1 thick / 0.15 point distance, on all but the knob & cap, to give it a less 3D printed look. Hardware needed:2x ¼-20 bolts @ 2" length2x ¼-20 nuts2x washers2x pan-head screws for mounting to wall (drywall/concrete anchors may be needed)1x M4x10MM pan head bolt to attach the speaker mount cubeI used a M4 tap to tap the hole. A heat insert or screw from behind the “interface” part may be needed if you speakers are larger/heavier. Assembly:Ream & tap thread onto “Speaker interface” partAttach speaker mount/cube onto Interface w/ M4 boltInsert bolt into knurled knob, open side toward bolt headPlace cap on knobAdd washer to boltInsert nuts into hinge partsAssemble remainder as seen in photosIf you make or remix, I'd love to see it, so please tag/upload. Enjoy
