Articulating Raspberry PI Camera Mount for 3030 aluminium extrusions on Prusa MK3
thingiverse
I initially started using the Articulating Raspberry PI Camera Mount on my Prusa MK3 mounted on the x-axis motor, but I quickly realized that it wasn't ideal because I couldn't secure the camera at a fixed point. Since the original designer only created a mount for a 2020 extrusion, I decided to design my own mount for the 3030 aluminum extrusion on my Prusa i3 MK3. This custom mount should work perfectly with any other 3030 extrusion that has identical profile dimensions. If you're looking for an easy installation process and your printer is already assembled, you can use drop-in T-nuts, which I found online at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3199057, and secure them with two M3x10 screws. To print the object, simply place it on its side.
