Articulating Raspberry Pi Camera Mount cover with LED strip
thingiverse
You may want to print this with a material like PETG or one that can handle higher temperatures. This will help prevent warping from the heat of the LED strip. This setup lets you mount two strips of 24V LEDs directly onto the camera face plate, providing illumination for the print area. I use an enclosure for printing, resulting in limited light levels. I have a strip of LEDs mounted to the top of the enclosure, but due to the extruder, whatever is being printed remains in shadow. With this part, I can now clearly see what is being printed.
