Articulating Range Ruler for 1 Inch Grid Battle Mat This can be used to measure a meandering path length, at 1 inch is 5 foot of moment scale, for D&D combat. It is 12 inches or 60 foot scale length. Files contained numbered and unnumbered links. There is a starting block with a square end the is labeled with a "5", otherwise only blocks representing whole increments of 10 are labeled. The number labels use Arial Bold font. This was really an exercise in making an articulating part. The original had the parts captured at the shaft/bushing. From a practical standpoint, this is a bad idea, as a bad print on one block could ruin the entire assembly. Each block is opened ended and the parts can be "clicked" together. Some receiver ends may need to be opened up with a razor if the material is too stiff - thereby breaking the receiver arms, or print defect makes assembly too difficult. I've included OBJ files for both the unlabeled open ended and captured shaft versions.
