This versatile neck joint enables the head to roll from side to side and move up/down and left and right smoothly. Instructions: Print the following parts: Neck Joint Upper, Neck Joint Lower, Piston Adapter S, Piston Adapter F, Servo Holder, Servo Pivot, Throat piston V2 (available on InMoov website/downloads), Throat piston base V2 (available on InMoov website/downloads). You will also need a servo, I used an MG995 but any similar-sized servo will work. Before starting the assembly, make sure all parts fit together and move freely when assembled. Apply a small amount of grease to each joint to facilitate smooth movement. The parts should snap together securely. Cut off the Neck V1 at the first groove, then insert the Neck Joint Lower part into it, with its narrow groove facing forward. Secure this part to the neck with a screw or glue. Replace the original Neck HingeV1 with the Neck Joint Upper and secure it in place using three screws. Verify that the ball on the Servo Holder fits snugly but still moves freely within the Servo Pivot. Mount the Servo Pivot inside the irregular-shaped hole between the Homeplateback and Claviback, securing it with a couple of screws. Consult the picture for reference. Trim the ThroatPistonBases to 3" in length and adjust the base so that it is 7/8" in diameter. Attach this setup to your servo. Separate the attachment points from the ThroatPistons and attach Piston Adapter S to one end - do not permanently attach yet. You will need to cut off an existing thread, but use a different technique, this part must remain removable at any time you want adjust the setting so it won't stick to piston adapter or base. You'll require the original ThroatPiston and Base V2 that enables the head's up-and-down motion. Remove its attachment point and attach Piston Adapter F to this part. Position the servo responsible for lifting the head up and down at a 90-degree angle. Securely fasten the throat piston to the front attachment point on the Neck Joint Upper. Manually lift the head and set the travel limits so that it has full range motion then use a small screw to make the Piston Adapter F connection permanent. You'll need to remove some material from the Homeplateback and claviback to allow for proper fitting of the ThroatPistonBase.
