I managed to attach my articulating arm work lamp to the workbench using the base provided, but it wasn't stable, so I built a simple clamp based on SeeMeCNC's Moai statue as a base. Print Settings: For this project, I suggest using 30% infill for the statue and 80% infill for the screw and additional parts. I printed my lamp with Bamboo filament at .5 resolution using a .6 nozzle and random start points to create texture on the statue (for aesthetics). How I Designed This: I downloaded the Moai statue from http://repables.com/r/551/ and used Tinkercad to add the screw, then post-processed it in Meshmixer to fill in some holes and fix a few surface issues. Considerations: When printing the screw, use a strong material like Nylon or PETG that has good layer adhesion. As you can see from my picture, my wooden screw failed under stress, so I printed one in PETG at a very slow speed with 5 shells & 80% infill (thanks to my Makerbox subscription).
