VIDEO ON IT MOVING: https://youtu.be/B_OkKaCuMfI So, making a simple 3D shark is pretty straightforward. However, I wanted to push myself to create an ultra-realistic model, so I focused on perfecting its movement and appearance. Movement: Getting the shark to move was the biggest challenge in this project. Since you can't see it move within the program, you have to visualize it mentally and really think about what gives a fishlike creature its movement. In my case, it's a custom-designed Chain Link that I created specifically for the shark's spine. PRINTING: I'm not sure how well this design will print on other 3D printers, as each one is unique. If it doesn't fit properly, you can always scale it down, but be aware that scaling may affect the movement of the shark. This model is a single print that requires no assembly. However, keep in mind that you'll need to use an acid bath to melt away the support material between the Chain Links. So, please take this into consideration before printing. Also, I'd love to hear about your experience with printing my 3D shark!
