This thing is an articulated USB lamp that plugs directly into a laptop's USB port. It's extremely useful for working with laptops in low-light conditions. Step 1: Print the STL files attached to this message. Step 2: Choose two thin wires that can easily pass through the 4mm hole in the articulated joint, which will power up the LED. Step 3: Pass one wire through a circular ring followed by an articulated joint. Step 4: Continue passing the remaining circular rings and articulated joints consecutively. Step 5: Fit all the articulated joints together at their ball junctions from back to front. Step 6: Finally, secure the articulated joints with a circlip as shown in the attached picture. Step 7: Attach the head pieces and bottom clamp attachments. Note: Refer to the electrical wiring details in the attached photo for further information. A switch can be added in series if needed. The clamp requires a spring for proper operation. I welcome your suggestions to improve this project.
