This is an articulated figure based on Steve from Minecraft, a sandbox indie game created by Markus "Notch" Persson in Sweden and developed by Mojang. It was first released as a developmental Alpha Version on PC on May 17, 2009, with gradual updates leading to its full release on November 18, 2011. Android users got the game a month earlier on October 7, while iOS users received it on November 17, 2011. The game debuted on Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade title on May 9, 2012, and later on PlayStation 3 on December 17, 2013. The game was released on PlayStation 4 on September 4, 2014, with the Xbox One version following a day later. Steve is the main character players control in Minecraft, considered the unofficial lead protagonist of the game. Steve features dark brown hair, brown skin, and blue eyes, along with a light blue shirt tucked into his pants but loose on one side, blue jeans, and gray shoes. A faint stubble gives him a rugged appearance. A simple snap-fit system allows for easy articulation of Steve's arms and legs, making it easy to pose him in various positions.
