Articulated Slug

So my kids hacked apart one of my articulated bugs and somehow managed to turn it into something actually pretty cool. I decided to take the bug's design and transform it into a slug, because why not? The prints turned out great, with a hollow interior that added to its realism. One thing I learned was that adding 100% infill gave the slug a weight that made it feel really solid in your hand. It's details like this that can make a model go from just okay to amazing. I also discovered a clever trick for removing the slug from my printer: all you need is a putty knife and some patience. Simply stick the knife between two body segments, twist it gently, and with any luck, the segments should come loose without causing too much damage. It's definitely worth trying if you're having trouble getting your model out of the printer.
