I'm diving into CAD training and decided to tackle a challenging project - designing a fully articulated print, inspired by Shark Week's thrilling documentaries. My goal was to create a 3D-printed shark that brings a sense of realism to any desk or shelf. The design is based on the great white shark's streamlined body and features a complex articulation system. I chose ABS-X as the printing material for its durability and flexibility, which will allow me to achieve the desired level of movement and poseability. Using my Anycubic I3 MEGA printer, I carefully calibrated the settings to ensure precise layer adhesion and minimal warping. The result is a sturdy yet lightweight print that showcases the great white shark's imposing presence.
