Articulated Robot in 11 Minutes (enhanced)

<p>First of all, <strong>this is not my own design</strong>. If you like it, please send a tip to <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1706470">NirDobovizki</a>.</p><p>Having identified some drawbacks in the original design regarding easy printability I pulled the STL on <a href="https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hjP64yDcxV6-robbie-v3">TinkerCAD</a> and took a few minutes of my spare time to make some minor modifications to enhance bed adhesion.</p><p>While I was at it I also realized that there was enough space left in the body to make the robot head articulated, too!<br>So I simply copied one of the arm links there. Works like a treat!</p><p>Printing time is (only) a few seconds longer than the original V2 version; actually Cura shows both the old and new one as "11 minutes" with my settings.<br>I did not manage to print a robot V2 or V3 in under 10 minutes that actually looked nice.</p><h3> </h3><h3>Print Settings</h3><p> </p><p><strong>Rafts: </strong>No<br><strong>Supports: </strong>No<br><strong>Resolution: </strong>0.2mm<br><strong>Infill: </strong>15%<br><strong>Filament:</strong> bq PLA blue <br> </p><p><strong>Notes: </strong></p><p>Make sure to enable the "Print Thin Walls" setting in your slicer, otherwise the first layer will not be sliced as required!Cura</p><p> </p><p> </p>
