Articulated Phone Mount

Articulated phone mount for hands-free viewing or recording. Can be moved to a wide variety of angles and locked in place. The phone holds quite securely, but make sure to not over-tighten the wing nut. Tried with a Samsung S9 and a Samsung S10. The S9 requires the "small lower bracket" while the S10 requires the "large lower bracket" I put a small amount of bearing grease on the arm and mounting plate pegs for added rotation smoothness. Known issue is the thumb screws will work themselves loose if you keep rotating it up and down without checking the screw tightness. Required to attach the adjustable upper bracket to the lower bracket: M4-.70 x 20 hex head screw; M4-.70 wing nut. Required to attach the lower bracket to the center hub: 6-32 x 1/2" thumb screw; 6-32 x 1/2" nut; M4 washer. Required to attach the arm to the mounting plate: 6-32x 1 1/2" machine screw 6-32 x 1/2" nut; Washer that fits a 6-32 (max outer diameter 11.80mm) Whatever screws you want to attach to wall (mounting plate hole diameter is 3.5mm) Can use duct-tape in a pinch!
