The tie segments are fully articulated, ensuring a smooth print without supports. Hinge segments are completely self-contained and only require bending to release any stuck plastic. Comprising three articulated segments, a knot, and a retaining washer, the necktie is carefully crafted for optimal performance. Tie segments connect by applying a single drop of epoxy or adhesive and tapping pins into adjacent part holes. The retaining washer is secured with a #6 x 1/2" flat head wood screw. A versatile channel in the knot allows for easy feeding of the neck strap, which can be made from any available material. Designed to accommodate a 5/8" cloth strap with velcro attached at both ends.
