Articulated Dragoness
thingiverse
This Model is currently undergoing a major Overhaul to become an entirely new one. One of my long-term goals in 3D printing is to bring my vision of a fully Articulated Dragon to life. I want to create a dragon that truly embodies the essence of these magnificent creatures, and not just a mere imitation. At this point, I'm still unclear about the differences between various dragon types, which makes it challenging for me to pinpoint exactly what I want to achieve with my project. I'm eager to learn more about each type of dragon and understand their unique characteristics. As the name of my model has changed from Articulated Serpent to Articulated Dragoness, I've encountered some confusion between these two projects. The similarity in design between the two models has led me to question whether they can be considered as different species or not. For inspiration, I'm drawing from renowned designs like Braq the Dragon by BqLabs and other impressive dragon models. These references will help me refine my understanding of dragon anatomy and guide my design decisions. The ball joint concept, which is a crucial aspect of this project, has been successfully implemented in some of my previous ball-jointed projects. Inspiration is flowing freely, and I'm excited to see how my vision takes shape as the redesign progresses.
