Articulated Bossk Figure V2
thingiverse
Was going to upgrade the other version with improved articulation, but decided to start over and changed enough aesthetically and structurally that it ended up being a new model with different joints. As such, none of the parts are interchangeable with the last model. I made the 'walls' where the joints connect thicker to avoid breakage. I printed it in PLA+ on an FDM machine and the joints are tight enough that the limbs stay in place for me and don't break off like the last one did. Joints snap on strongly and the legs have greater range of motion than the last version. This one should be the final version, since I'm happy with how it printed out. I would love to see any makes, especially if anyone paints the model. I'll post a make after I get one painted. Minor UPDATE: After printing it twice, I see that the patch on the upper arm just doesn't print well on FDM machines. The mesh detail has been removed and the new arms will be included as an optional version to print. The original arms print fine in resin. Both arms versions of the arms are included here, just pick the ones you wish to print. Image added to show the patch with and without mesh details. Thanks to tomjeromenewton and Scobo for the original model.
