Articulated Batarang

Articulated Batarang

I designed a custom "hinge" component, paired it with a "slicer" and a "punch," allowing you to transform any simple three-dimensional shape into an articulated model similar to the butterfly. It's incredibly cool! I built upon Yannickraw's batarang as the foundation for this project. This creation offers endless entertainment possibilities! A how-to tutorial will be published soon. The design is optimized to print on a 150x150mm volume printer; simply rotate it by 45 degrees and you're good to go! By setting the exterior infill angles to 0 degrees and 90 degrees, you can minimize interior infill and significantly reduce plastic usage when printing at a 45-degree rotation. As I'm currently printing one on a 400x400mm printer with all settings maxed out, I'll post an update along with a photo in about 17 hours if everything goes as planned!
