Articulated armor robot
thingiverse
This robot/armor suit action figure bears a striking resemblance to Iron Man or B-max from Big Hero 6. It stands at approximately 20cm tall. I'm thrilled with the remixed design, and I hope you'll like it too! The initial concept has been revamped with several upgrades. Ball joints have been added to the elbow, ankle, knee, and wrist for greater flexibility. A new top portion has been created for the torso, which surrounds the neck, and completes the shoulder ball joints (just remember to glue this part in place). Color inserts have also been added to the legs. Jooxoe3i's exceptional fist and hand design have been scaled down to fit perfectly with the new wrist ball joint. The legs and hips parts require assembly via glue, and centering pins will help ensure accurate placement. To create a complete katana, simply cut Katana in half, then combine it with its mirrored counterpart and glue them together. This action figure is incredibly poseable and can be positioned in numerous ways. I plan to craft a pair of ninja sabers that complement the fist perfectly. Here are some helpful tips: If your ball joints are stubbornly resistant to assembly, try using a lighter or heat gun to gently warm up the socket portion before attaching it to the ball. Conversely, if your ball joints feel too loose, apply a small amount of epoxy to either the ball or socket part with a paintbrush. Once dry, assemble the parts. You may need to drill a slight hole in the hand to accommodate the katana handle. I had an absolute blast remixing and printing this figure! The process was incredibly easy. Now it's your turn!
