I'm designing a custom headphone cable organizer that keeps my cord tidy and secure. To achieve this, I've attached a holder to the underside of my desk's top, allowing me to route the cable from the back to the front while keeping it off the floor. The caps are specifically designed to snap onto the pin shaft, ensuring a snug fit. However, since glue is an option, the fit may vary depending on how well the adhesive adheres to the materials involved.
