Arthas Menethil, Crown Prince of Lordaeron and Knight of the Silver Hand, was a powerful force, son of King Terenas Menethil II and future ruler of the throne. He learned the ways of a paladin from Uther the Lightbringer and had a close relationship with Jaina Proudmoore, the kind sorceress. Despite his promising start, Arthas became one of the most feared beings in Azeroth's history, taking up Frostmourne, a cursed runeblade, and leading the Scourge to destroy Lordaeron. He merged with the Lich King and ruled as the dominant personality for many years before being defeated by Alliance and Horde adventurers. Cradled by his father's spirit, Arthas Menethil passed away, leaving the mantle of the Lich King to a noble soul who would contain the power of the Scourge. My work in Zbrush For this sculpt, I started with a dynamesh sphere and tried to adapt the design during primary and secondary forms using reference images. When I had almost all the base mesh ready, I used various brushes: Form Soft, Dam standard, Standard Brush, Clay Buildup, Pinch, Trim Dynamic, and Move. I enjoyed using the Curve Tube Brush to complete the helmet, carefully modifying preferences in the Stroke-Curve Modifiers menu. After detailing the model, I adapted it to be support-free and easily printable in one part only.
