Artemis

myminifactory

A meticulously restored ancient relic attributed to Cavaceppi showcases a torso and draped chlamys encircling her shoulders, likely originating from an Aphrodite or nymph statue. Cavaceppi's skilled hands crafted the waist drapery, head, neck, forearms, and torch, transforming it into Artemis or Diana Lucifera, the revered Moon Goddess, accompanied by attributes such as a lit torch and crescent horns. The marble surface has been thoroughly polished, revealing intricate details like the deep drill work on her hair and the rounded features of her face and hands, characteristic of Cavaceppi's distinctive craftsmanship. This prized artifact was acquired from Cavaceppi by Henry Blundell. The Scan The World initiative, a collaborative effort led by MyMiniFactory, aims to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
