This high poly ceiling light model is rendered in V-Ray and includes textures. It has been tested with Checkmate Light Program and exported in 3ds, fbx, and obj formats without meshsmooth modifier. The model features no hidden objects, all objects grouped, materials applied, and correct texture paths. With a 1:1 scale, it is optimized for rendering in 3DS Max and V-Ray; adjustments may be needed in other programs. The preview image can be replicated by opening the max file and clicking render. The file has gamma set to 1.0 and unit scale in centimeters at 1:1. This model showcases Artemide's Orsa ceiling light, an elegant, minimalist design that embodies precision. Its slim metal stem forms the heat-sink and housing for the LED, while a UV bonded moulded glass cover contains the invisible light source. The industrial design team at Foster + Partners carefully experimented with materials, surfaces, and optics to achieve the desired lighting effect and volume, resulting in a precision glass that takes its shape from the focused output of the LED, which is diffused through a specially engineered etched lens for wider light distribution. Orsa can be used as a standalone piece or as part of a larger ensemble.
