We've scanned a scanner, and the experience was a breeze. However, there were some areas where the geometry and texture variation were minimal, which made it challenging for the scanner's tracking algorithms to keep up. Fortunately, we had placed the scanner on a wooden turntable with a distinctive grain pattern during scanning, and this proved to be a huge help in those instances. In general, though, our scan of Artec Eva using Artec Spider was a quick and straightforward process :).
