Art-Deco Speaker Grill

Art-Deco Speaker Grill

thingiverse

Art Deco style domed speaker grills. As built, it creates a grill for a 55mm speaker (to fit an MFOS Noise Toaster) but you can modify everything (diameter, thickness, number of bars, dome height...) to suit. Note that as you change the print layer thickness, you will get coarser/finer stepping on the bevels and domed grill; this looks quite nice. Instructions I printed the two examples shown on a K8200 using Form Futura "silver" EasyPLA with a 0.5mm nozzle onto kapton. The coarser one is printed at 0.4mm layer height and 3 perimeters, and the finer one at 0.25mm layer height and 10 perimeters. Both had temperatures of 215C nozzle, 55C bed. Note that the look changes drastically as you change the layer height. Feel free to experiment, the OpenSCAD file is included.
