Art Deco Power Bank with 17670 cells
thingiverse
This is a power bank which can be used with a pack of nine 17670 cells in a 3S3P configuration (salvaged from an old laptop battery). The box is really thick and rugged, but takes a long time to print and uses lot of filament. It contains 2 USB sockets with voltage regulator (salvaged from a car USB charger), and an LED lantern with dimmable light. The decorative pieces fit into the corresponding dents and should be glued in place. The dimming action is done with a potentiometer simply connected in series with the LEDs. The top lid is secured using screws. The battery does not contain any BMS, so it should be balanced externally. Small screws going through the top lid should be used as connection points. The "beams" of the top decorative "sun" piece act as an indication of which connection point goes to which cell.
