Art Deco FM Radio with Arduino
thingiverse
This is an Art Deco Style FM Radio Project that utilizes an Arduino as its central brain. The design is a reproduction of the fantastic 1936 AWA Radiolette, a stunning Art Deco radio. You can view a photo of it attached here. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to uncover the identity of this magnificent radio's designer. I have published a detailed video on my YouTube channel showcasing this project and how I built it. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP_S3LuZBGA The Electronics To grasp the electronics behind this project, please view the following two videos: 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OMaf4L4Z3s 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUxnkGxpYJQ Electronics Components: Arduino Pro Mini ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/ArduinoProMini FTDI Programmer ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/FTDI Nokia 5110 LCD ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/NOKIA5110 FM Radio Module ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/FMRadioModule Speaker ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/3WSpeaker USB To Serial Converter ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/FTDI Rotary Encoder ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/RotaryEncoder Battery Charger ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/WemosBatteryShield 18650 Battery ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/Batteries18650 Amplifier Module ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/PAM8403 18650 Battery Holder ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/18650Holder Wires ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/Wires Switch ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/Switch A 5x7 CMs prototyping board ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/PCB5x7 Speaker Cloth ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/SpeakerCloth Code of the Project & Schematics: http://educ8s.tv/diy-art-deco-fm-radio/ 3D printed Parts: I possess a Wanhao i3 Duplicator 3D printer, which I acquired several years ago, along with a substantial amount of filament. Today, if I were to purchase the following 3D Printer and Filaments: 3D Printer ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/3DPrinter PLA Filament ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/PLA Wood Filament ▶ http://educ8s.tv/part/WoodFilament I printed all the parts with regular PLA to verify that everything fits and the enclosure appears magnificent. Then, I printed the enclosure using Wood Filament. I utilized the following two filaments: Coconut Filament: http://bit.ly/WoodFilamentCoconut Birch Filament: http://bit.ly/WoodFilamentBirch
