This design continues to showcase the Art Deco theme I'm currently exploring, inspired by the Bauhaus style. The dimensions of these are precisely 45mm x 45mm. Built in 1940, this double-story cement-rendered brick building, situated at 838-840 Princes Highway in Tempe, boasts a design characteristic of the 'Commonwealth Bank Art Deco' style prevalent during that era. The ground floor features an expansive banking chamber, while the first floor is dedicated to the Manager's residence. A distinctive aspect of this building's design is its three rounded external walls adorned with glass brick windows and flat roofs, one leading up to a roof garden. This architectural style emerged within the Architectural Branch of the Commonwealth Department of the Interior, who served as the primary architects for the Bank's construction projects until the late 1950s. http://artdecoheritage.blogspot.com/2009/08/commonwealth-bank-tempe.html
