This is a custom-made tool for removing old glue and debris from the nock end of tapered aluminum arrows before installing a new nock. I created this design after being unable to find a suitable product in stores about 30 years ago. To assemble this tool, you'll need to print it first, then add three sections cut from a round Swiss file, also known as a rat-tail or needle file. These sections are glued into the grooves on the tool using superglue, allowing them to clean the taper when attached and twisted onto the arrow.
