Arrow Slingshot
myminifactory
This is a powerful little slingshot that launches homemade arrows with precision. Made from mostly printed plastic, it has a sturdy square wooden dowel running underneath the barrel to boost its strength. The trigger mechanism relies on office rubber bands, while cut-up therapy bands power the elastic firing device. This compact slingshot measures 18 inches in length and prints out in six convenient pieces. I highly recommend using an infill of 50-75% for all components to ensure they withstand repeated firings. When put to the test, it proved surprisingly potent. The slingshot features four segments of Thera Band Gold, enabling it to launch arrows over 200 feet with ease. In my yard, I successfully hit a target from 150 feet away and the arrow remained lodged. Homemade arrows are crafted from 1/4-inch dowel rods cut to 12 inches in length. Simple packing tape serves as the fletching material on these arrows. This slingshot is an absolute blast to use, capable of shooting clean through apples and even piercing a full can of soda with ease. Have fun experimenting with this design, but always exercise caution. Enjoy the thrill of launching your homemade arrows!
