Arrow rest for traditional bow (tab style)
pinshape
Summary This traditional-style arrow rest is designed specifically for use with bows. When attached to one side of the bow handle, a small gap remains between the rest and the bow, allowing modern arrows with plastic or rubber fletchings to pass through safely, eliminating worries about fletching cutting hands. To set it up, simply print it out using PLA material, then hold the arrow resting tab. Soak the thicker part in boiling water for a few seconds until it becomes soft. Press it firmly onto your bow handle while it's still pliable, ensuring a perfect fit. Use gloves to protect yourself from any sharp edges. Secure the rest in position by wrapping jute, paracord, or tape around it. The Blender file is available for use. The photos feature a snakey curved centershot bow made from PVC pipe, constructed following Backyardbowyer's video tutorials on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/user/BackyardBowyer.
