Arrow rest for traditional bow (tab style)
thingiverse
This is a straightforward tab-style arrow rest designed for traditional bows. When attached to one side of the bow handle, the small space between the rest and the bow lets the arrow fletching pass through safely, allowing you to shoot modern arrows with plastic or rubber fletchings without worrying about the fletchings cutting your hand. To use it, simply print out the PLA material, hold the arrow resting tab, and soak the thicker part in boiling water until it softens (this should only take a few seconds). Then, press it against your bow handle while it's still soft to get a perfect fit. Wear gloves! Next, secure it in position by wrapping it with jute, paracord, tape, or any other material you prefer. Feel free to use the Blender file provided. The bow shown in the photos is a snake-shaped curved centershot bow made from PVC pipe, following Backyardbowyer's video tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackyardBowyer
